Senior Architectural Drafter
Consulting role –30-40 hrs per week with opportunity for full-time employment
Blue Pencil Collective is seeking a Senior Architectural Drafter to join our team! BPC is a multidisciplinary design firm, which allows us to approach projects at varying scales and through multiple perspectives. We aim to create architecture that inspires and elevates lives, shaping spaces that positively impact people and communities. As a Senior Architectural Drafter at BPC, you will be part of a design team producing detailed construction documents, developing 3D models, and creating high-quality renderings. You’ll work closely with architects and designers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into drawings and visualizations, maintain BIM standards, and contribute to presentations that communicate design ideas to clients.
Highly Valued
- Advanced Revit skills
- 3D visualization and rendering proficiency
Required
- Adobe Creative Suite
- SketchUp
- BIM modeling experience
- Construction drawings
- Professional drafting/architecture experience
Preferred
- 5–7 years’ experience in architectural drafting
- Experience with residential and commercial projects
- Familiarity with V-Ray and/or Enscape (or similar rendering software)
- Knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection

BPC is a multidisciplinary design firm, which allows us to approach projects at varying scales and through multiple perspectives. We aim to create architecture that inspires and elevates lives, shaping spaces that positively impact people and communities. Senior Project Architect will lead teams, work on technical details, engage with clients, contribute to the design and problem solving, and create technical documentation, specifications, construction documents, and construction administration.
Full knowledge of architectural principles/practices. Good communication, organizational, and management skills.
Must be a licensed architect in MN. Must have Revit, and Adobe CS Experience. 8+ years experience preferred.
